In 2006 - Sandy made the Modernline Kitchen as a part of a full house set. You can download the original here - Around the Sims - Modernline Kitchen.
I loved that kitchen because it was nicely modern, and also because the Modernline set was one of my most used sets in Sims 1.

Tutorial - Repository Part 1 - Linking back to EA textures (Simple)
This is the start of a number of tutorials that I'm creating around repositorying things to minimise textures in your game.
WHY have repository:
This is useful to downloaders because
1. It allows you to have things matching in a much more complete way.
2. It minimises the number of textures that you have loaded into graphics memory - reducing the opportunity for pink flashing.
3. Makes it easier to remove some things from the game - don't want that slaved table? remove it, and don't worry about the recolours - you don't need to go searching for them. Note: if you want to remove a master - don't. Instead go into Simpe, and untick it's catalog sorts in the OBJD segment. Commit, Save. And it's gone from your game, but still retains the recolours for your other pieces.
4. You don't have to have hundred's of recolours in game to match up your sofa pieces with your armchair, etc.
This is useful for creators because:
1. You don't have to recolour all umpteen million pieces to have a matching set.
2. If everything is mapped correctly, you only need to test your recolours on the master object.
3. It allows you to have an expanded set, with less work.
So that's the why: Under the cut - the How

THEME: Charles Rennie Mackintosh - Part 1 of Many - The Rugs (2014)
I love Charles Rennie Mackintosh. I've loved him for a long, long time. It was one of my first themes in TS1. And it's finally time to convert my TS1 CRM stuff for TS2.

Nantes Top - from GoS (2013)
There was a tutorial thingy, which Spacedoll ran - and the month that they did clothing, I joined in because I suck at clothing.
I suck less than I used to, and was actually happy with these. There are 4 of them.

Walls - WDS Totally Textured Wallpaper (GoS 2013)
Another one that was posted at GoS and is probably lost in the great Server trouble of 2013. These have been made AL ceiling friendly, cleaned up for all colours. I loved most of the stuff that came from the Well Dressed Sim (now no longer online).
Nursery - Willow Line (2014)
Fulfilling a request from an N99-er. Here's a small Nursery set - Willow Line.
Download Willow Line Nursery
Contains - Bedding, Change Station, 3 pictures on EA Scruffles Painting (that's the patchwork dog)
Rug displayed is from EveryBoulevard Set. The white Bed frame is from a previous Starr Nursery which can be found on here.

Christmas in July 2013 - Present to EveryBoulevard
Christmas in July - My present to EveryBoulevard was a gazillion recolours of 3 things -
1. Holy Simoly's Simply Elegant Curtain - in 42 colours x 3 patterns, plus 1 plain.
2. EA Sun Ryu Rug in CuriousB's 42 colours, using Holy Simoly Shag pattern
3. Jonesi's Blanket (which also recolours the squintillion add-ons) in 42 colours * 6 patterns + 1 plain.
I have no idea if the Christmas in July thread is still there or lost in the great server trouble of 2013. So I'm posting this here.

Around the Sims Stendhalic Lighting - Repositoried and Recoloured (2013)
In this month's Request a Skill thread at N99, Lila asked for the Stendhalic Lighting to be recoloured in basic solids. I can do this I thought.
Then I noticed that although each of the lamps used the same texture size and shape (same mapping), I'd have to recolour them each separately. I'm not doing that, I thought!
(Downloads after the break)

May - Nurseries, 13 of them (2013)
Starrsim at N99 wanted someone to make wallpaper patterns from poppet into bedding to use in a nursery. I got carried away, and have spent the last month making them into many matching pieces.
Thanks and credit to Poppet for agreeing to my recolouring madness on her patterns.
